Family is central to African culture and children are welcome. There is no dress code and we’re open 7 days a week. We welcome walk-ins when capacity allows but we cannot guarantee availability, so we urge you to pre-book.

At GOLD, we offer :

18h30 to 19h00 OPTIONAL, but fun interactive djembe drumming experience R99 per person.
19h00 onwards our set African and Cape Malay dinner, together with live entertainment during the evening R380 per person.
The entire menu is served at your table in sharing and individual portions and you may order as much as you like from the menu.
Live entertainment takes place from around 19h45 and is performed in your dining room during your dinner.

Please advise us in advance if there are any dietary requirements that we need to be aware of so that we can adjust the menu accordingly.

Kindly note our 2019 rates of R395 per person for dinner and R99 per person for our interactive drumming session

Join Us For An African New Years Eve

New Years Eve at GOLD is a truly spectacular event!

Cost per person: R1650 including gratuity and the below

** Arrival cocktail

** Djembe drumming circle for 20minutes (You can join anytime between 7pm – 8.30pm)

** Set 18 dish African/Cape Malay menu served to the tables in sharing and individual portions

** Mineral waters during dinner

** GOLD Restaurant Mali Gold performances during dinner

** A 4-5 piece band will perform from 10.30pm and will play until 01.00am.

** DJ to play until 02.00

** Bubbly at midnight

** Children under the age of 12 years are priced at 50% of full rate and children under the age of 4 years eat with our compliments.
